For many years I did not consider UFO's , abduction or lost time events were
in any way connected to time travel. I did not believe humans could time
travel or that they would return to the past if they could.
I have had a bit of a change in my opinion about this since I have been
writing about these subjects along with my own personal encounters with the
unknown. I now feel it is as much a possible answer or an added problem
besides Aliens that humans from the future may be those visiting , taking and
using the humans of our time now.
I feel this way as I realize we are heading full speed ahead in to a
dangerous error of mixing man with machine. I feel it is not impossible we
continued down this path until we became as much or perhaps more machine than
living biological life. If this is what
our future holds it is not illogical that we lost our way and our ability to
continue producing the DNA and other human biological needed elements needed to
continue producing human life. If our
future holds a hybrid human who is developed rather than born we may have lost
our ability to reproduce without the need of
pure human beings.
With that said it is as possible as it is other life forms from our universe to
have time traveling humans from the future visiting and abducting us too.
I think we need to consider all areas of possible answers to the questions
we have involving all the unknowns we now are facing all over the world. I do not think it is just one other species
from our cosmos who may come our way as that does not make sense with knowing
the extent of the universe around us. I am sure there are many forms of alien life out there . I
do not think it is impossible that dimensions are at play with some of our
unknown encounters as well. We
know we have limited understanding
in this area which tells me that dimensional visitors are as likely as universal ones.
My main point is that we are very limited in our knowledge concerning all
these subjects and must remain open minded until we have a better understanding
of how all these things work and who may
be visiting us. The only thing I do know as fact is that we are being visited ,
some of us are being taken, some of us are returned and we have no idea at all
who or what is doing it.
We see things daily all over the world in our sky and have no idea at all
what we are looking at . We hear things,
video things, and photograph things all without truly understanding what
we are capturing . I have written about
UFO's of all types and shapes including flying buildings without any idea who
or what is piloting them . I have seen
crafts with my own eyes and walked my own road with the unknown still without
understanding who or what stood right in front of me. I do know it is time for us to consider
all things and to stop using these subjects as a game or fun . It is now time
to get to the getting when it comes to understanding the unknown. How long do we all intend to stay the most ignorant beings around? I for one would like to know what is going on before it is too late for our own good.
If we are doomed and our future is visiting us I imagine it may be too
late to change it. If we are losing our humanity and we are being
visited by who we will become it maybe I am wrong and we could do something to change and keep our humanity intact. . The fact is
until we smarten up and stop using the unknown as our playtime fun zone we will remain the dumbest kids on the universal block!
Something to think about and consider. The one thing I am sure about is that we do not know what took place in history and seem to be wrong about most of what happened . With that said I think it only logical to be open minded about things we do not understand until we can find real answers to so many open questions

A warning is needed as summer draws near:
Millions of people will take to the Great Outdoors around the world, hiking, biking,
hunting, fishing, swimming and camping.
Chris Holly and I have noted the increasing
reports of UFO sightings, and we know from the reports of our readers - and, perhaps
more importantly, from the Real Time Abductees featured in many of
Chris's articles here at Chris Holly's Paranormal
World - that many of these sightings don't stop with a
glimpse of an anomalous object in the
sky.
The sightings are sometimes
accompanied by indications of "missing time," and there is a smaller but most important
indication some of these sightings lead to the total disappearance of some experience rs.
So please view the following reports that were related by the witnesses to Chris Holly as
warnings about what you could see and experience while enjoying the summer
season.
Enjoy nature in all its aspects, but remain vigilant, and try to ensure you are never
alone in your ventures. There is much that can be considered dangerous or
threatening in any encounter with the Unknown.
Examine the reports that follow for what you
could do to make sure you don't become a victim this summer, if you unwittingly
find yourself in the middle of an event that exceeds any description of what we consider
normal. Be sure you and your companions are prepared if you're unfortunate enough
to have an encounter with
the
'Seeing is believing.' 'A picture is
worth a thousand words.' 'I would not have believed it if I had not seen it
with my own eyes.' I'm sure you've heard quotes like these all of your life.
I'm also sure you've felt you needed to experience certain things for yourself
before believing they were true. The people I've written about here felt that
way about many subjects listed under the paranormal heading. They knew people
talked about, wrote about and made movies about such things, but they really never
believed any of it to be true – until, of course, they came face-to-face with
such phenomena and saw the enigma up front and clearly - with their own eyes.
The first encounter that forced
mostly skeptical eyes wide open happened to a young couple I know through a
friend of a friend. I met the couple a few times briefly and could tell they
felt I was that wacko who writes about all the crazy paranormal stuff! They
look at me differently now - in fact, they look at lots of things differently
now. This couple and their six-year-old son had what you would call a “life
changing experience” one weekend late in the summer of 2011 while on a camping
trip in the Catskill Mountains of
upstate New York.
The three of them would often pack
up their camping gear and take long weekends in different forested locations
around the state. One spot they always enjoyed visiting was one of the many
wooded areas of the Catskill Mountains. It was an easy drive from their home
outside of New York City and a beautiful place to find nature and adventure for
their little boy.
Late in September of 2011 the small
family decided to spend a long weekend , while the weather remained warm , hiking
among the Catskills. The would drive to an area where they could pull their
large, older model van off the road and set up a small campsite close to where
they wanted to explore the wooded mountainside. Their campsite consisted of a
few folding chairs and a portable grill they placed on the ground as a small
fire pit. For safety and comfort the three of them slept in sleeping bags
inside the back of their van. The family would investigate the hiking paths
during the day, returning to their makeshift campsite to cook a dinner of
hotdogs and toasted marshmallows over their small campfire at day's end. At
night they would sit and watch the sky until their little fire died away. Then,
exhausted from a day of exploring, the family usually crawled into their van
before 9 P.M., slipping into warm sleeping bags. The next day, dawn would start
the pleasant routine all over again.
The
weekend at the center of our
story was like many others they'd enjoyed over that summer - hiking
along the
mountainside, sitting around the campfire and sleeping in the van. Then
came
the day the six-year-old grew tired and hungry about 5 P.M., sending the
three
back to their small campsite. The parents set about building a small
fire in
the portable grill and pulling out the cooler full of food for the
night. The little boy played nearby with a handful of toys he
brought along. With the fire crackling, the young wife poured enough
water in a
small pot to make some hot chocolate for the family to help with the
colder air
slowly beginning to make its way across the Catskills. It was still
daylight,
but the family was tired and their day was winding down.
They sat contently around the small
fire, fussing with the food and talking about things they'd seen during their
hike when the child stood up from where he was playing around on the ground
with his toys. With his back to his parents, he was looking out towards the sky
above a small valley below them. Suddenly he interrupted his parents by
whispering to his father, "Dad, what is that thing?” At first the father
continued talking to his wife when his little boy called to him again , sounding a bit
more frightened, "Dad, that thing, what is it? It's scaring me!" With
that the little boy backed up to his father and grabbed his shirt tightly.
Turning to face the small valley,
the young father looked to see what was upsetting his son. His wife was now
paying attention to what was happening as well..
In front of this small family,
rising from the valley floor, was a huge oval-shaped craft. The hulking craft had
sinister glow as it loomed over the valley, changing rapidly from blues to
greens to purples; however, there was no hint of the familiar lights that
announce the nighttime presence of a standard aircraft. The entire surface of
the ominous craft glowed with the continuously changing colors. It appeared the
craft was seamlessly fashioned of a silvery metal skin with rotating luminous
neon colors. It didn't seem to have any windows, doors or breaks in its smooth
metallic surface and made not even a single sound. The family stood awestricken
and frightened for a few seconds as the massive craft rose above the mountain
scenery
Quickly conquering feelings of
nausea and overpowering fear, the husband, a combat hardened military veteran,
knew he had to move his family to safety. He didn't want whatever controlled
the threatening craft to notice them. Slowly, he bent to empty the pot of water
on the fire, dousing the flames. He slowly swept up his son, whispering to the
child not to make any noise, pulling the boy close while he reached for his
wife's hand. He shook his head when she started to speak. The young husband
slowly withdrew his family, silently, to the van. He opened the passenger door,
motioning for his wife to get in and passing her the child who was now
whimpering in fear. He slowly moved to the driver's side of the van, keeping
wary eyes on the craft that continued to slowly rise from the valley. He slid
into the van and started the engine, slowly guiding it into the tree line for
concealment. The van was a dark green, and he hoped he could hide it from the
view of whatever mastered the rising craft. He was trying to maintain
concealment while putting distance between the fear inducing craft and his
little family
At a crawl, the van edged its way
along the tree line as the husband moved carefully away from the threatening
craft. He did this until he could no longer see the UFO, hoping the craft's
crew couldn't see him either. He slowly increased his speed, trying not to
crash into any of the trees as he distanced his family from the mysterious
giant object. He continued this path along the side of the road, under the
trees, until he felt it was safe to take to the road's surface to get his
family out of there as fast as possible.
The young family hit the road,
speeding down the mountain as fast as they could, moving rapidly away from
whatever it was that was rising above the valley.
The young husband headed the van for
the closest area where other people would be and found a gas station at the
bottom of the mountain road. The family, now shocked and still terrified, told
the gas station owner what they had just seen. Strangely, the gas station owner
didn't seem shocked, nor did he think they were crazy. He told them they did
the right thing, getting out of there, and suggested the young man fill his
tank and continue driving away from the area. The family took his advice,
quickly finding their way to a heavily traveled highway and heading directly
home.
When they were safely locked in far
from the mountains in their own home, the young man called the sheriff's office
responsible for the area where they had their ominous sighting to report what
they had observed. A deputy politely took his report but showed no emotion or
reaction to what the family had witnessed. The young husband couldn't tell if
the lack of reaction was due to the deputy not believing him, or just the
boredom that might set in for an official who had heard similar reports from a
multitude of callers that night. The deputy had no response to the young man's
question of whether others had reported the sighting besides him. The deputy
simply thanked him and ended the call.
The couple had never thought much
about things like UFOs before and never anticipated coming face-to-face with
one while sitting around a campfire in the Catskills. Fortunately, the young
father knew instinctively that he needed to get his family away from there as
quickly and quietly as he could. He did an excellent job of keeping his focus
and saving his family. The fact of the matter is that no one really knew
exactly where this family was that day, and no one was near where they parked
to spend the night in the woods. If the crew of the mysterious craft had
noticed them and taken them, the family may have joined the ranks of the
missing with no chance of anyone ever knowing what happened to them. The quick
thinking that led the young father to rise above the terror of this situation
was exactly the cool thinking needed to save his family from the possibility of
an unknown fate.
This couple now knows these
anomalous objects exist, and they're able to perform in ways that can't be
matched by any known terrestrial aircraft. The object they witnessed was about
the size of a cruise ship. Its illumination came from glowing rather than
actual lights. It was silent, and even as large as it was, it could hover in
mid air, slowly gaining altitude between periods of simply hanging still in the
sky. The man told me only personally seeing such an object could ever convince
him these fantastic aerial enigmas and their capabilities exist.
Not only did this family experience
a life changing encounter, they received a lesson in keeping an open mind when
it comes to claims about UFOs and similar seemingly outlandish things that are
being reported worldwide.
That leads us to a report I
personally received from a formerly skeptical source a few years ago. One
of the things I've learned during the years I've been writing about the paranormal is
that you never can be sure who will be the next person to tell you of an
extraordinary event. More than once I've had one of my most strident critics or
hardened skeptics tell me about something incredible that happened
to them, something that challenged their beliefs and left them shaking their
heads.
I'm both amused and amazed at these
people who ridicule and give me a terrible time for years only to turn around
and search me out to tell me of an incredible encounter of their own. The
strange thing is no matter how clear and how bizarre their experience may have
been, this type of individual will still hold onto the reasoning it was all
explainable, or, at the most, a secret of our own government. Opening their
minds to other explanations is just out of the question to this type of
personality, even when the unknown is staring them directly in the face!
This sighting took place in West
Haven, Connecticut. The event was experienced by a man who is a hardcore
skeptic and his wife and two children. The belief challenging encounter with
the unknown took place in the early 1990s.
In his own words, this is exactly
what this man told me happened to him and his family:
"It was around the end of
August. The family and I decided to go pick up a few burgers and take them down
to the dock overlooking the water (the Long Island Sound) to eat them. By the
time we picked up our food and made our way to the dock it was about 7 P.M. It
was a beautiful day with a huge blue sky filled with big fluffy white clouds.
We got our bag of food and drinks and parked at the dock along with about three
other cars all doing the same thing as we were - eating. We were all sitting
there looking out over the water enjoying our burgers looking at the water and
sky when out of nowhere the water directly in front of the dock about 200 or so
feet out from shore started to whirl. As the water swirled around up from the
middle of it a big UFO came out of the water slowly rising right in front of
us. At about 300 feet over the water it hesitated and simply hung there in the
sky above the water. It was about as big as three school buses tied together.
Oval or cigar shaped with a dome on top. The damn thing was big and right there
in front of us. It was gunmetal gray with only two small blinking red lights on
each either side of it. Otherwise no lights at all were visible. The thing just
hovered there in the sky dripping. I thought it had to be a government secret
craft of some type or maybe a hologram.
“I
could hear the cars around me try to start their motors as soon as this thing
started coming up out of the water. They could not turn over the car engines to
start. I also tried to start my car as my first response, like the other cars,
was to get away from this thing. The cars would not start.
We all had no other choice but to
sit and watch. No one wanted to get out of their car at this point. We did not
know what this thing was or what it would do if we got out to run. We all just
sat in our cars not knowing what to do.
“The
UFO once again started to rise up into the sky. At this point I realized that
clouds were directly over the craft and the craft seemed to be moving quickly
toward them. Within a few seconds the UFO had entered the cloud cover above it
and silently slipped deep into the cloud cover until you could barely make out
the outline of the craft.
“We
sat staring at this until I heard one of the other cars start. As soon as his
car started all the other drivers tried and were able to start their cars too.
The next thing we all heard were the squealing of tires as we all sped away
from the dock as fast as possible.
“We
drove home still a bit shocked at what he had just seen. Once safely inside our
home I realized it was now nearly dark outside and glanced at the clock. It was
nearly 9 PM. I could not understand where the time had gone as the entire
sighting at the dock lasted only a few minutes. How we went from 7 to 9 PM was
confusing. My wife and I talked it over and decided to call the police and ask
if any military operations of any kind were taking place over the Long Island
Sound. When we called our questions were received with at first a long silence
and then a bit of confusion. The long and the short of it was that they did not
know or hear of anything unusual going on.
“I
know my family and I saw something unique that day. I have no idea what kind of
experiment we were caught up in but feel it must have been either military or
science driven. I would not even bring it up but since so many people are
seeing things like we saw I thought I would throw my two cents in too."
That's what this man told me. I
asked him why he ruled out the possibility this craft may have been something
that didn't originate on our world. He simply laughed and said, “That's
ridiculous and I'm not an idiot!" I felt it best to leave him thinking
what he needed to think in order to deal with the incredible UFO sighting he
and his family had while munching burgers in West Haven.
Many people see unusual things, and
as you can see from the two reports I've given here, people also have their own
views about what it is they witnessed.
Until we know for sure what these unidentified objects are that so many of us
have reported seeing all over the world, we shouldn't discount any explanation,
including the possibility they originate in a galaxy far away. For now we
remain in the dark about who or what is behind the UFOs we're seeing and often
recording on film. One day this phenomenon will be understood. Until then it
will remain in the realm of the unknown.
I have written a few times about the strange half cat mutilations that have
been found all over the world. I just received another report from one of my
readers and wanted to share this awful ongoing half cat report with you.
Something is very wrong with what is happening to these cats yet no one seems
to have any answers. Here is her email :
"Hi,
I live in Huntsville, Alabama. I
came across an article you wrote a couple years ago about half cat mutilations and
I wanted to report to you another example.
I found a dead cat in my yard this morning, or rather half a
dead cat. It was laid down like it had been posed, face down, paws forward. I
got a closer look at the underside and the insides were removed and it looked
like the fur was tucked inside the cat. There was no blood, no puncture wounds,
and it had not been chewed. Also there was a substance on the fur that could have been saliva or soap, or even just morning due. It was clear and shinny. I wish I had taken pictures but unfortunately I hesitated and the animal control came quickly to pick it up.
It looked like it was done by a human on
purpose. I am very disturbed by this, of course for the cat meeting such a
violent death, but also what it could mean for the safety of the neighborhood.
Is someone sending a message or warning? Or is it just a senseless act of
violence? I know it has been some time since you posted your article on
this subject, but I thought I'd share my experience. Also if you have found out
any more on the subject I'd be interested in knowing more.
I
first wrote about this odd subject back in 2008. I thought it was
extremely strange at the time however since I had not heard any more
about the strange half cat mutilations I thought they had stopped and
our pets were not still suffering this awful fate.
Sadly
I was wrong as once again I am being sent reports from all over the
world reporting people are finding their beloved pet cats dead and
cut in half.
The
cats are left in what seems a purposeful fashion in a place that the
owners could not miss them once they start to look for their family
pet. This alone is a very odd element in the cat mutilations of the
half cat dilemma.
The
cats are all cut perfectly in half with the top half left for the
family to find of the pets front paws and head while the bottom half of
the cat is nowhere to be found. Again as in the cases reported years
back the cats top potions are found bloodless and clean. They are left
looking more like a cat hand puppet than a dead cat .
The
people reporting this horrid find are all extremely upset not only
from finding their little cat dead but by the fashion in which they
were killed and left for the families to find them.
Recently
I was sent emails from Canada, southern California , England and
South Africa. I did a fast web search to find that this is an issue
presently in Boulder Colorado when I came across this posting :

One
of the emails sent to me came from Lisa in South Africa. She describes
these horrible mutilations from the viewpoint of an owner who lost a
cat in this fashion. Lisa wrote:
"Hi Holly
I read your article on cat mutilations and just wanted to let you know it's not just happening in one continent
Yesterday morning I got up to feed my cat just like I always do and let
her out. About 4 hours later my husband looked out the window to
find my cat cut in half and dumped in my garden.
We live in South Africa.
We thought maybe it was some sort of ritualistic African crap but after
reading different things on the internet we realized it is going on
all over and all very similar.
There was no blood around the body or in fact in the body. She was cut
through her mid section underneath her front legs. We have no idea
where the rest of her body is and no trace to who might have done
this to her.
We live in an enclosed complex surrounded by electric fence so I have no
doubt in my mind that it was someone living very close by
especially as they put her body in my yard so they obviously knew
she was my cat.
Poor little thing was only 4 months old and never bothered anyone. I just don't understand how people can be so cruel.
I want to raise awareness of the situation surrounding this animal
cruelty and I wish with every breath I have that such things were
punishable as if it were done to another human.
ANIMALS have feelings too! I cry when i think how scared my poor cat
must have been to endure something so horrible and brutal and
disgusting.
i wish people would understand that when you have animals you are
suppose to love and protect them from everything that might harm
them just like you do children.
I have 2 children and it scares me to think if they can do this to a
animal, there is nothing stopping them doing to another person. Our
Sylvia was not just my cat- she was like one of my children and it
pains me to think that she is never coming home I can't even begin to
express how sad I am that we lost her in such a horrific way!
I hope and pray one day there will be an explanation to this situation
as loosing something you love in this way leaves only
unanswered questions which really hurt when it is your cat.

We can only sit and wonder if it was done for personal kicks?
Was it for voodoo medicine or some silly ritual? I could go on and on
but now can only hope that one day people will understand that
animals are just as important as humans and this is a horrible
dangerous thing that is happening..

I
know that cats are often targets of malicious humans and slaughtered
for many reasons ranging from fun - to using them as a meat source and
eating them.
I
remembered when I was a child a demented young man in my town had
built an entire cat torture camp deep in the dense woods. He would
catch cats in the area and take them to this camp where he would
torture the poor animals to death. When his camp was found the local
police discovered hundreds of dead animals hanging from dozens of trees
in this twisted bizarre camp.
Cats
are eaten in many parts of the world the same as we eat chickens or
pigs. I am aware that the world does not hold the same view on cats as
pets with family member status that we do in western cultures.
The
thing about these cat mutilations is that not only have they been going
on for years in North America they happen all over the world in the
same manner.
Sometimes
both parts of the cat can be found but most common only one half of the
cat can be located. The location of the found body half is usually
clean of blood, which is odd considering the animals are cut perfectly
in half which has to be a messy business. The cuts are perfectly done
with clean precision which would need a very sharp cutting edge and a
skilled hand.
The
strangest thing about the cat mutilations is the neat skill of the
incision that cuts the cat in half. It is not torn or ripped or
shredded. The method of cutting the cats in half is clean and done with a
surgeons skill.
This
has been going on for years with many pet owners finding the gruesome
remains of half of their cat found often in an area that made it
impossible for them not to miss when the owners went looking for their
missing pet.
The
fact all the internal mess and blood that would happen during the
slaughter of the cat is never found also is very odd. It appears the
cats may be taken to another area and returned once they are prepared to
be found for the owners in this strange puppet like half cat corpse.
In the above email from the poor women in South Africa this horrible
thing was done quickly as her cat was only missing for four hours.
I
find these half cat mutilations extremely odd. The first thing that
strikes me as being strange is that this has been going on for many
years in different parts of the world.
Next
of course is the nature of the mutilation. Why would anyone or group of
people want to cut a cat perfectly in half? The more I think about
this situation the more questions I come up with. Why would anyone take
the time to make a perfect incision and take the effort and time to
either remove or clean up most of the blood and mess that certainly is
involved with cutting an animal in half? If it is being done elsewhere
why do they return the clean half remains of the dead cats? Also why do
they keep the other half?
.
I
realize that cow mutilations have been going on and investigated for a
very long time. I also realize that the cow mutilations have
similarities to what is happening with the half cats. They both seem to
be useless acts with the dead animals corpse left in areas visible for
their human owners to find.
I truly have no answers to who what or why pet cats are been slaughtered in this manner and left to be found by their owners.
It
cannot be one person who is doing this as I have had reports from all
corners of the world concerning half cats being found . Maybe it is
the hideous actions of a group or cult? Perhaps this is an act of
initiation to a strange club or gang or cult? I imagine it could be
that killing innocent animals may be considered some kind of badge of
honor or request for entry to a cult or gang to prove some kind of
twisted act of violence by way of attacking kitty cats and kittens. I
find it childish , moronic and cowardly , but it could be a possibility.
It
was suggested to me that this could be some sort of need by private
companies or secret projects to provide them with organic material for
biological programs they are working on. I have my doubts about that as
wouldn’t it be far easier to simply catch and keep the cats or empty the
overcrowded animal shelters as a source for live animals. I doubt if
this was the cause they would leave half of the animal to be found by
the poor pet owners.
Can
the half cat mutilation be some sort of step in some kind of large
underground game being played out in secret by its players? Could this
be some sorted thrill found in the deviant side of the erotic pleasure
spectrum only a few partake in? I have had all of these things suggested
but cannot figure out if any of these ideas are correct or even close
to the base of why the cats are being slaughtered without reason- and
left cut in half.
Of
course more than one person has brought UFO and alien involvement to my
attention as who may be mutilating and leaving the half cats. I would
question the reasons they would leave the cat half to be found yet
realize that we understand very little about visiting beings or why they
abduct humans so must leave this as a open possibility with the cat
half mutilations.
My
opinion with this subject is one of confusion and questions. I know
that this is going on. I just have no idea at all why or by who..
If
you have found your cat sadly in this fashion please let us know. If
you have an idea who or why this is happening please forward that
information to us as well. Since this horrid activity is once again
rearing its ugly head I think it is time we started to examine it with a
bit more concern and interest. It is far too strange to go unanswered.
For
me I am going to add a bit more thought and protection towards my own
pets. It seems the longer one lives the stranger this world becomes.
In
the past 5 days I have had 6 phone calls and 5 emails from different
parts of Long Island all telling me that they saw something strange in
the sky.
Three
people told me they saw odd diamond shaped objects lit in solid white
light hovering above the Coast line of Long Island. Two of these
sightings came from the east end of Long Island and both of them were
seen over the Atlantic Ocean. The people told me just about word for
word the same thing. The object was not moving just lingering above the
ocean , was a diamond shaped object and had a solid bright extremely
white glow to it. Both watched the object for less than a minute
before it simply started to gain altitude at first slowly until it
suddenly took off into the blue sky increasing speed until it
disappeared. This same report was given to me by a man who saw the same
thing while walking along the beach near Lido Beach , Long Island. All
of the people reported the same object doing the same thing during the
first 14 days of March 2012.
Five
people contacted me asking if I had heard about any sightings of UFO in
the area as they each watched a strange object in the night sky during
the first half of March. Four people claimed to have watched large
white changing to orange orbs cross over their houses silently at great
speed without any flashing lights or strobe lights of any kind. Just a
solid ball of light traveling at an enormous speed. They all said the
object passed across the sky quickly so they were only able to view it
for about 30 seconds however all of them were positive it was not a
plane . This report came from people living along the North Shore of
Long Island in the coastline towns along the mid section of Long
Island from the towns of Stonybrook west to Old Westbury .
The
last three people who contacted me claimed they watched a formation of
brightly colored white , red and orange orbs flying over the east end
of Long Island out over the Atlantic Ocean in a long V formation with
one side of the V much longer than the other at extreme speed
crossing over the ocean and the tip of Long Island heading towards the
coast line of the United States.
I
found the fact so many people contacted me all in the last week
reporting sightings seen recently this month unusual. I can only wonder
how many other people on Long Island have had recent sightings who do
not report them .
I
think it is time we all took notice of our sky and try to become
familiar with the normal things in your sky both during the day and
night so you are able to distinguish what belongs there and what does
not . It is only time before we all notice something that is unknown. I
truly believe there is so much activity out there that it is only our
ignorance of our own surroundings, denial of what truly is going on
around us and our lack of caring that keeps us lost to the truth of
many subjects considered unknown. Start looking and when you do see
something tell someone. It is the only way we will ever figure out what
is going on out there, around us, over us and to us each and every day.
I
thank all who took the time to contact me. I wish I could offer a
suggested organization that is truly looking for real answers to all
these unknown sightings but as it is , the mess of the paranormal and
the lack of real research continues to be our biggest failure. I had
one caller tell me that after looking at the absolute garbage on the net
he simply decided to tell me as I am a local and leave it at that. I
fully understood his feelings as it is what prompted me to begin writing
in the first place. I had my own story to tell and nowhere to tell it
that kept the comical or pure fantasy separated from those who were
truly encountering amazing things. My goal has been and will remain
telling the experiences of ordinary people who encounter extra ordinary
events.
Now more than ever keep a keen eye on the sky both day and night. They are out there!
The abductee I first interviewed who gave me the idea to join together a group of real time abductees was a very special woman. After spending time with her I realized
the importance of trying to pull together a united group of real time
abductees for the purpose of sharing experiences in order to see if a
common thread could be found in those being taken.
This woman agreed to be part of the real time abductee group. Real
time abductions are those that take place when the abductees are fully
awake and alert going about the routine of their typical day when they
are suddenly without consent taken for what is known as lost time
events.
Luckily the four abductees I have been writing about were returned after each abduction. I have written about the group so far with
articles about the male abductee as well as one of the females who
have had lifelong abduction experiences. In this article I will talk
about another member of the four abductees a woman who is by far the most interesting abductee I have spent time with.
This woman lives on Long Island. She is a very private person and lives her life as
a hermit closed off to all but family and a few select friends. She
lives in a highly protected environment in a secure home with family
members who defend and protect this woman with determination and love.
She is a very unusual person who has had a life time of interference by
whatever has been abducting her for nearly her entire life.
This woman is by far the most unusual in appearance of the group of abductees in my interview group.
Her eyes are very large . They are a clear bright blue . I noticed whenever the sun would streak into a room and
reach her face she would shield her eyes, blink and move away from the
direct light. She has very dark circles under her eyes and very pale
skin. I questioned her about her discomfort with the sun and her eyes and she replied, “ The sun is blinding to me, I cannot see at all in strong sunlight.”
Her
arms and legs are covered in areas by large bandages. The areas of her
legs and arms that were uncovered were covered with what looked like
white scars of different lengths and shapes. She was chubby but
ageless. I could not tell if she was 40 –50 or 60. She looks to be a
middle-aged woman but does not have any wrinkles or the appearance of
an older woman. I honestly could not judge her age at all. She has
light hair, which is very fine and pale. Not a brown or a blond. Her
hair is sort of light without a definite shade , very fine worn mid length.
When with this woman she
quickly takes control of the conversation. It is apparent to all she
does not take part in small talk as she quickly gets to the point . She
suggested I take notes as she was not going to be able to talk that
long and did not want to repeat herself. I got out my notebook and
listened when she talked .
She
told me that odd activity started for her about age 5 or 6. She
recalls strange people being around her and being taken away from home
often as a child but was never sure where she was or what was happening
to her during those events. She would have these encounters at all
different times. She may be out playing in her yard or in her room
playing with her toys. She would wake up in the middle of the night
terrified but had no idea at age 6 exactly what was happening to her.
By
the time she was a teen this woman realized she was different from
other kids. She was much smarter than the average kids her age and was
developing psychic abilities that were very strong and very frightening
to her. She could look at someone she did not know and understand
immediately things about them. She would know their names, where they
lived, what they were thinking and most of all if they were a good or
bad person. She could tell her friends what was going to happen to them
weeks before the events occurred. Her differences were separating her
from friends and family and she was becoming withdrawn and odder by the
day.
During
her time growing up this woman would have continuous episodes of going
about her normal life with lost time events lacing through her
years. She would know when they were about to occur as she would
become suddenly dizzy and within seconds find she was surrounded by a
strong ray of blinding light. The next thing is knew she would find
herself slumped over on the ground in a place she did not know alone,
ill and frightened. She quickly learned how to pull herself together so
she could figure out where she was and how she could return home. She
would hide money in her shoes in hopes it would still be there when she
was returned from these horrid experiences so she would be able to
call for help or do what she needed to do to return to her home. Her
life was a hell.
The missing time and fogged over encounters continued and the changes in her increased.
About age 25 she could no longer stand to be outside in the sun for very long as normal rays of sunlight
were becoming blinding and painful to her eyes. She also was beginning
to read two or three books a day with lightning speed. Her need to
consume all she could learn was becoming an over powering need she
could not control.
This
also was the time she started to feel ill often and have unexplained
times of bleeding and pain in her uterus that she could not understand.
Sometimes she would not have any normal monthly cycles at all and
other times wake up from one of the encounters with terrible pain and
extreme bleeding.
She
had become a hermit by this time only seeing her family and a handful
of friends. The strangeness of her life kept her away from others as
she suffered more and more oddities with each passing year.
About
age 30 she started to return from her abductions with strange burn
like rashes across her arms , legs, back and groin area. They were
painful and would last for months at a time.
She
was developing a hatred of most food claiming it all tasted awful and
had a limited diet that existed of only a few bland items that she
could manage to keep down or desire.
About this time she decided to see a doctor about her rashes and belly pain as she was finding it harder and harder to deal
with it all. Her doctor sent her to specialists who looked at her
rash/ burns. They came up empty to what they thought it was and chalked
it up to her making them appear by way of stress. They told her nicely
that she was causing the skin to do this with her mind.
After
being examined for her problems with her natural cycles she was
questioned to how many pregnancies she had. When she told them none they
snarled that they could not help her if she would not be honest with
them. Feeling defeated she simply listened and said little in response.
The doctors insisted she had carried more than one baby. She knew she
never had a child.
This
woman’s life had been a hell with only her family and a few friends
understanding the horror of what was happening to her. She found the
rest of the world to be cruel and heartless to her circumstance.
As
she aged the abductions decreased. Now entering her senior years she
was left alone and free from the visits that tortured her throughout
her entire life.
She
can only stand to be out in the day light for a few minutes at a time.
She needs to wear very dark sunglasses and drive with tinted windows
in her car. She spends most of her time indoors during the day.
She
has a quick mind and can recall almost all she has read during her
lifetime. She has strong psychic powers that she will only use to help
those she knows and cares for. Besides that she keeps what she knows to
herself. She suffers from her skin problems, which come and go without
reason or explanation. She never married and never had children- that
she knows of.
This
woman is without question the most curious person I ever interviewed.
She is obviously a human but also seems altered in ways by the interference
of her abductors. She is not like other humans yet she is. She seems
to be tampered with making her more advanced in many ways and weaker in
others.
Mentally she is far advanced. Physically she struggles with living on earth in her human body. She
is an impatient woman who talks quickly and expects those around her
to keep up with her speed of thought and speaking. She seems void of
humor and simply titled her head looking at me oddly when I attempted
to include a joke or two into our quick paced serious conversation. She
seemed far more entertained by my attempts to be funny or silly then
the humor of what I was saying.
Her
eyes are large and blue. When she looks at you it is with a straight
intense dead on stare right into your own eyes that makes you alert and
uncomfortable. I felt like I was being given the most important test
of my life and if I failed I was going to be booted off the earth. I
stopped trying to interact and just sat and took furious notes as she
told me what she wanted to tell me. She talked and I wrote.
When
the four abductees sat together in conversation she kept the
conversation on topics she wanted discussed. She had no tolerance for
small talk or joy in sharing a dinner or snack with the group. The only
thing she showed interest in was a bowl of coffee ice cream which she
devoured so quickly my head hurt in anticipation of the ice cream
freeze head pain she must have endured. Instead she asked for another huge bowl.
As our
time together progressed I was able to question her on the things I
wanted to know concerning her encounters. I asked her who did she
thought had been taking her – and what did she think they wanted from
her?
Without
hesitation she replied: “ This may surprise you but I think humans may
be involved in my abductions. I think they may be working with aliens
or are some odd group of humans from the past or a species of humans that evolved past us who are part of who or what is taking me.” I
simply looked at her stupidly as she continued,” I use to think aliens
from another planet were the ones taking me but I changed my mind
along the way and think some kind of human has a hand in it also.
I think that somehow someway humans populated this planet or another planet
very much like this one who suffered a huge catastrophe that wiped
most of them out. I think they may be living inside the earth or maybe
on the moon or in the moon. I think they are millions of years older
than the humans walking and living on this earth now and far advanced. I
also think that physically they have weakened or changed to the point
they cannot live on the earth as it is now.
I
think they may be the ones who come and take people like me. I think
they are trying to mate with us to return their bodies to those that
can live a life on earth. Or they are trying to breed with the humans
of today for some reason.
I
think that what they do changes people like me into something closer
to what they are rather than returning them more like we are. My body
changes and mind skills are a result of these things. Do not get me
wrong – they could easily be aliens from other worlds. I just feel that
they seem human to me when I can recall small parts of my encounters
with them.”
She
told me that she fears for the world and the people on it. She does
not think the creatures who have been taking her and experimenting on
her are here for us or to help or better the human race. She feels
those who have taken her are strictly here for their own benefit. She
does not feel fear from them as much as she does concern for us at this
point in her life.
This
woman feels we are very backward in our knowledge of the universe and
extremely dense when it comes to all things paranormal. She understands
we are no match for any being who can take us against our will, wipe
out our memory , experiment on us and throw us back into the human pool
whenever they please. She feels we are no match for those who spend
time here on earth with us . How can we consider interacting with
beings who travel around us when we are not even capable of seeing the
forest for the trees. They are here right in front of our noses and we
do not even detect or know it. The differences in their abilities and
ours are about the same as a mouse and our best science minds.
This woman has harsh
words for those who make false claims as well as those who are
complete skeptics. She feels it best to let the world live as it is in
total ignorance. She feels we could all solve the problems on this
earth if we wanted to. She feels as a mass we just do not wish to. Her
wish is to simply stand back and watch as the universe teaches us all the
facts of life. She does not feel we will all make it to understanding
them or living through some of the lessons as we still remain far too
primitive to comprehend or interact with our cosmic neighbors.
This woman is a serious, interesting, brilliant person who is unlike anyone else on this earth I have ever known.
I
will be writing more about her thoughts , opinions and warnings once I
complete my article about the last abductee of the real time abduction
group.
I
have been receiving emails concerning my time and articles with this
abduction group. Many people are interested in hearing more about this
group which I will be addressing in future articles .
Other
emails however are mean spirited and confused. It seems that reading
about the people I have written about does not fit in with the run of
the mill Hollywood , Star Wars presentation of many standard abduction
reports. What I am writing is what I am being told by those I truly
believe have had lost time abduction events happen to them. I do not
color it to dazzle my readers or bring scary entertainment to those who
want the fantasy and not the reality concerning this subject.
I
think it is time for the world to try to look at this subject without
the Hollywood flair and try to understand the real and hard truth of
what may be going on out there to many people who have been and still
are being taken.
I do not repeat the typical dialogue of
most reports as they are not the reports I am hearing. I am writing
about what those I talk to who are willing to discuss concerning what
has happened to them.
For
those who are interested in a aspect of this without the science
fiction coloring my articles will be continue to be of interest
concerning this group. To those who wish to stay in the darkness of the
paranormal colored by fantasy and agendas that really do not include
those I write about I suggest you continue with following that which
makes you happy and leave those who are trying to push forward with a
hope of figuring out this subject to do so without your mean spirited
attacks .
If this subject is ever going to be understood we have to stop fighting each other and start taking these subjects seriously. I
understand this subject matter can be a wonderful hobby or a place
where you meet fun friends for a great laugh. You must understand
others are being taken , harmed and truly need and want to know what
really is going on out there. Unless this division is dealt with the
subject of abduction , aliens and UFO's will continue to be a joke for most and a devastation for others.
I
will continue writing about this group as it is told to me. I will not
write to fit in with the norm or to appease those who are upset about
what I have to say.
I do hope you will all continue to pay attention to your surroundings and always keep looking up!

Salford scientists reveal the 'sound of Stonehenge'
Whatever went on there, it would have impressed the ancient Britons. Even if it was only whispering.
Bits missing. But when it was all in
place, there'd have been booms, rumbles, echoes and reverberations.

Salford's
clever academics, who once took me shopping in a virtual supermarket –
you sat in an armchair wearing a helmet and a glove – have now recreated
the sound of Stonehenge.
We
are nowhere nearer cracking the mystery of the monument as a result;
but who would want to be? Apart from all the mountains of remaindered books of theories, a puzzle solved is never as gripping as a conundrum still under way.
But the four-year project by Dr Bruno Fazenda and colleagues at Huddersfield and Bristol universities,
has established how the shouts, speeches, songs or sacrificial screams
would have sounded, whatever material they may have contained. The
method has been a painstaking piece of 'archaeoacoustics', a relatively
new discipline which reveals the sound quality of buildings from the
past.

Stonehenge
is very well known, but people are still trying to find out what it was
built for and we thought that doing this research would add an element
of archaeology
that so far hasn't been looked at. It's a new area of acoustic science
and it could be very helpful in the archaeological interpretation of
important buildings and heritage sites, some of which may not exist in
their original form, such as in the case of Stonehenge.
The
number of missing bits at the famous stone circle by the A303 in
Wiltshire was an obvious problem, and tests there by the team produced
only a limited number of weak echoes and no noticeable reverberation.
Ancient Britons would not have been terribly overawed by this, if the
monument was built to impress. But luckily there is a full-sized replica in the United States.
Built
out of concrete and erected at Maryhill, Washington state, as a
memorial to US soldiers killed in the First World War, this revealed a
wealth of special effects. Fazenda found:
It
was possible to make proper acoustic measurements that allow an
investigation into striking effects such as echoes, resonances and
whispering gallery effects. The data gathered does not unequivocally
reveal whether the site was designed with acoustics in mind, like Greek
or Roman theatres. It nevertheless shows that the space reacted to
acoustic activity in a way that would have been noticeable to the
Neolithic man.
The next stage, in the tradition of my
virtual supermarket foray, was to create an 'audio 3D rendition' of the
recorded sounds, using 64 audio channels and bespoke loudspeakers from
Salford university based on wave field synthesis. Fazenda says:
This
system give us an accurate and immersive recreation of what Stonehenge
would have sounded like. We can not only see ourselves surrounded by the
stones using virtual reality, but we can also listen how the stone
structure would have enveloped people in a sonic experience. It is as if
we can travel back in time and experience the space in a more holistic
way.

But it is now hoped this grainy image of a long ‘serpent-like creature’ may finally unlock the mystery of the Loch Ness Monster.

The sonar picture, that shows a
large unidentified living object deep underwater, was recorded by Loch
Ness boat skipper Marcus Atkinson. The mysterious being was recorded at a depth of 75ft in the murky water and measured nearly 5ft wide. Mr Atkinson’s
sonar fish-finder device records the width of objects in the depths
directly below his tourist boat every quarter of a second. Image produced when his vessel was in
the Loch's Urquhart Bay showed a long moving object that had followed
the boat for more than two minutes. The consistent marks on Mr Atkinson's sonar create a horizontal mass, which is not an indicator of length. But
excited Loch Ness monster experts have ruled out the ‘sighting’ being
any other fish, seal or wood debris and believe it is proof of an
unknown creature in the Loch.

The picture taken on Mr Atkinson's
mobile phone of his sonar screen, has won him first prize in the Best
Nessie Sighting of The Year Award run by bookmakers William Hill. Mr Atkinson,
43, from Fort Augustus in the Scottish Highlands, said: 'I was dropping
customers at Urquhart Castle and then got my boat out of the way of the
other tour companies. 'I moved out into the water and looked at the sonar and saw this image had appeared. 'The
device takes a reading of the depth and what is below the boat every
quarter of a second and gradually builds up a picture, so it covered a
time of about five minutes. 'The object got bigger and bigger and I thought "bloody hell" and took a picture with my mobile phone. 'There
is nothing that big in the Loch. I was in shock as it looked like a big
serpent, it’s amazing. You can’t fake a sonar image. I have never seen
anything returned like this on the fish finder. 'It is a bizarre shape to me. I have shown it to other experienced skippers and none of us know what it was.

Loch Ness monster hunter said: 'There are no animals in the loch as big
as the image here, the biggest thing we see are seals which are nothing
compared to this. 'It’s also totally unexplained and can’t possibly be fish because in water 75ft down you just wouldn’t find them.

'It’s very exciting and the
best evidence we have had in donkey’s years. There is usually a mundane
explanation yet no one has come up with one for this. 'It’s images like this that will keep me going with my hunt for the next 20 years.' But other marine experts claim the mystery object may well have been algae in the water. Dr Simon Boxall, from the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, said: 'The picture is built up slowly as the boat moves. 'So it’s not a snap shot and thus the image is not an image of a single object unless it is very still. 'The image shows a bloom of algae and zooplankton that would exist on what would be a thermocline. 'Zooplankton live off this algae and reflect sound signals from echo sounders and fish finders very well. 'They will appear as a linear “blob” on the screen, just like this. 'This is a monster made of millions of tiny animals and plants and represents the bulk of life in the Loch.'

Russian 'Mothership' UFO Analyzed: What is It? (Video)

The UFO which has reappeared
over the skies of St. Petersburg, Russia, is the subject of an extended
report asking what it might be and why it is flying over the city.
The report, contained in the video
below, was broadcast by Mexico's leading Ufologist Jaime Maussan and is
in Spanish with English sub-titles. But the message is clear. The
incidents, which have mystified residents of St. Petersburg and ignited
the paranormal community, have been documented extensively on video.
In
them, what is being called a "mothership" hovers silently over the
Russian city, usually at night, revolving and flashing multi-colored
lights. Skeptics have even dubbed this aircraft the "Disco Ball" UFO.
In
several cases, it appears that balls of light drop from the ship, while
other spheres seem to appear nearby before being absorbed into the
hull. No matter what this phenomenon really is, it's a spectacular
story. Is it a hoax?
If so, then it's the most elaborate ever produced.
How
could it be accomplished without a response from police or military
authorities? How do spherical orbs seem to become absorbed? How could
civil authorities allow the population to be scared out of their wits?

Eggs-traordinary: 40 gigantic dinosaur eggs dating back 60million years found in Chechnya - but what laid them is a mystery
Geologists in Russia's
volatile Chechnya region have discovered what they believe to be
fossilised dinosaur eggs laid by one of the huge extinct reptiles that
roamed the Earth more than 60million years ago. 'We've
found about 40 eggs so far, the exact number has not been established,’
said Said-Emin Dzhabrailov, a geologist at the Chechen State
University. ‘There could be many more lying under the ground.’

construction crew was blasting through a hillside to build a road near
the region's border with former Soviet Georgia in the Caucasus
Mountains.
A
team of geologists stumbled across the smooth, oval rock-like forms,
which range from 25cm to one metre coincidentally on a recent trip to
the area, said Dzhabrailov. He said palaeontologists were needed to determine which species of dinosaur had laid them.

surrounding provinces of Russia's North Caucasus. However,
violence has declined under the strong-arm rule of Ramzan Kadyrov,
whose multi-million dollar construction projects are aimed at raising
the region's profile and boosting the tourism potential of the troubled
area.

jet of super-heated plasma blasting off into space. The
explosion, captured by Nasa's Solar Dynamics Observatory at about
5.45pm yesterday evening, was one of the most beautiful seen in years. It
measured at just a moderate M1 on the scale of sun storms, which placed
it in the middle of the scale scientists use to measure flare strength.

Nevertheless,
its location - shooting off from the sun's left side - allowed Nasa to
capture this remarkable footage of the flare from the SDO spacecraft. 'Great eruption happening on the sun now,' Nasa scientists wrote in a Twitter post. The
spectacular flare erupted from an active region of the sun which may
also be responsible for solar storm activity seen on Sunday, officials
from the agency told Space.com.

'Such eruptions are often
associated with solar flares, and in this case an M1 class
(medium-sized) flare occurred at the same time, peaking at 1:45 PM EDT.
The CME (coronal mass ejection) was not aimed toward Earth,' Nasa said. When

Solar flares are measured on a letter scale, with the strongest classified as C, M and X. X
class storms are the most powerful events and when blowing in the
direction of Earth they can pose a danger to orbiting astronauts and
spacecraft, as well as power grids, communications and navigation
systems on the ground. MailOnline

set to change in the next decades, cutting down the number of sunspots
and explosive solar events. However,
those events that do occur will be more damaging, with experts warning
that our spacecraft and aircraft may be unable to cope. Changes
in the Sun's magnetic field could also leave our planet more exposed to
galactic cosmic rays - and people in planes and spacecraft would bear
the brunt of this alien radiation.

The space age has coincided with a period of unusually high solar activity, called a grand maximum. Isotopes
in ice sheets and tree rings tell us that this grand solar maximum is
one of 24 during the last 9,300 years - the high levels of solar
magnetic field seen over the space age will reduce in future. This might sound like good news - but
the changes in the sun's magnetic field could leave Earth vulnerable to
blasts of galactic cosmic rays. Solar storms could also become more
violent. The most probable
scenario, according to Luke Barnard of the University of Reading, is
that solar activity will decline, leading cosmic rays to increase by a
factor of 1.5 and Earth to be battered by eight large solar eruptions
every century. Mr. Barnard
says, 'Radiation in space can be a serious issue for both people and the
delicate electronic systems that society depends on. Our research shows
that this problem is likely to get worse over the coming decades - and
that engineers will need to work even harder to mitigate its impact.'

Skulls from China’s Red Deer Cave: New Humanoid Species?
The fossils of four Stone Age hominids recently discovered in
two caves in China are possibly an entirely new species of humanoids.
The skulls and teeth possess a mysterious mixture of both ancient and
modern features as well as previously unseen characteristics.
Their unusual cast of features include a flat face, a broad nose, a
jutting jaw, minus a chin, large molars, a rounded cranium with
prominent brow ridges, and dense skull bones.
These fossils represent the youngest skulls ever found in Asia, dating back from between 14,500 and 11,500 years ago.
Until these fossils
were found, with the exception of Homo sapiens, no other skeletons
younger than 100,000 years old had been unearthed in mainland East Asia.
Curiously, carbon dating revealed that these humanoids roamed the
earth at a time when it was believed that other human species, such as
Neanderthals, had already died out.
They have been dubbed the “Red Deer People” after the extinct animals that comprised the mainstay of their diet.
“These new fossils might be of a previously unknown species, one that
survived until the very end of the Ice Age, around 11,000 years ago,”
said Professor Curnoe of the University of New South Wales.
“Alternatively, they might represent a very early and previously unknown
migration of modern humans out of Africa, a population who may not have
contributed genetically to living people.”
The discovery of these fossils, which was published in the journal PLoS One,
opens a door of knowledge concerning the primitive populations of Asia,
as it was originally thought that early humans were an isolated lot,
living without competition for food and space on the continent.
The Red Deer fossils may represent a number of things still to be
verified by researchers and scientists. It is possible they are part of
an early migration of modern humans from Africa into East Asia. It has
also been speculated that there may be nothing extraordinary about them
at all, and that they are simply indicative of the reality that people
come in all shapes and sizes and always have.
The latest find at the very least reveals a lack of knowledge about this place and time.
Time will tell. Maybe.
When it slammed into the surface of Earth, there was little sign of the beauty that lay inside. But cutting the Fukang meteorite open yielded a breathtaking sight. Within the rock, translucent golden crystals of a mineral called olivine gleamed among a silvery honeycomb of nickel-iron.

The rare meteorite weighed
about the same as a hatchback when it was discovered in 2000, in the
Gobi Desert in China's Xinjiang Province. It has since been divided into slices which give the effect of stained glass when the sun shines through them. An
anonymous collector holds the largest portion, which weighs 925lb. in
2008, this piece was expected to fetch $2million (£1.26million) at
auction at Bonham's in New York - but it remained unsold.
It is so valuable that even tiny chunks sell in the region of £20-30 per gram. Arizona's Southwest Meteorite
Laboratory, which holds about 70lb of the rock, says the remarkable find
will turn out to be 'one of the greatest meteorite discoveries of the
21st century'. It says the
Fukang specimen outshines all other known examples of the pallasite
class, which makes up just one per cent of all meteorites. However, it
is not the biggest - in 2005 space rock hunter Steve Arnold dug up a
1,400lb sample in Kansas.

pallasites, whose make-up of half nickel-iron, half olivine gives them
their mosaic-like appearance, are 'thought to be relics of forming
planets'. They are believed
to originate from deep inside intact meteors created during the
formation of the solar system about 4.5 billion years ago and very few
specimens are thought to have survived their descent through Earth's
atmosphere. February 2005 saw the Chinese space rock transported all the way to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, in Tucson, Arizona. The
U.S. lab claims their polished slice of the original meteorite is the
world's biggest pallasite cross section, measuring 36in by 19in.
